Synergy Live 2014
by Jarryd Wood
21 days until the ridiculously epic: SYNERGY Live 2014 festival takes place! Three days of living on the banks of the Theewaterskloof Dam getting in touch with nature and experiencing, for the first time in South Africa, Bombay Bicycle Club. That is right boys & girls, South Africa is making a name out there (thanks to all of your devotion) as they are scheduled to visit Sunny S.A. for 2 days in their already jam-packed schedule!
Opening the main stage Friday night is a Cape Town based Rock band, McCree. You may know their song (which I thoroughly enjoy) “When I was 17”.
More local line-ups to follow for the weekend, such as personal favourites (just to name a few) Short Straw, Jeremy Loops & Taxi Violence: because local is lekker!
Another international headliner, S.P.Y. will be hitting up some drum ‘n’ bass on the Red Bull Stage to prepare those electronic fans for SIRIUS Sunday which will consist of nine hours of electronic music featuring more international acts.
Come join @thegrindradio for this entertaining getaway with a variety of indie, rock and electronic music acts to select from or sit down and have a laugh at the comedy club. Maybe you will spot me on the fairground catching a carnival ride or two! Tickets still available, so book now!
Still need some encouragement? Check out last year’s festival aftermovie.
