The Cat Empire confirmed for Rocking The Daisies 2015

On the 1st April 2015 Rocking the Daisies confirmed that the silky Ska sounds of The Cat Empire would be the first international addition to the festivals tenth line up.

With a name terrifying to all Ailurophobe (like me) and a sound smoother than Jameson Whiskey, this AUS band is not one to be missed. “Steal the Light”, their newest album, debuted top 20 charts in six countries.

Their lively, zesty performances always get a party going. For a band with so many stereotypical genres, from jazz to reggae to funk to gypsy, clung to them, tighter than your jeans after Christmas, the band has still been able to deliver a fresh and unique sound.

2003 self-titled album including the hit song “Hello” gave the band a nudge into the mainstream market.
The Daisies will be rocking from 1-4 October at the Cloof Wine Estate in Darling. Tickets to the festival are available and on sale right now for all those who pre-registered for R750 right here. Tickets to the Heartbreak Motel also opened today with a variety of camping options available.

There is only a limited amount available and sales close on the 9th of April. Phase two will be opening up directly after with an hour head start for those who registered. Reminding us all that all festival goers are equal but those who pre-registered are more equal.
