The Otterlake Easter Festival is a four day music showcase of note, which will be held from the 17th to the 20th of April at Plot 26 in Kameeldrift East (near Roodeplaat dam). Started in 2013, in collaboration with STRAB, Moonshine Productions, Otterlake German Restaurant, FORR, Moonprint & Unite Against Poaching. Not only will you enjoy an experience of a lifetime; you’ll be contributing towards a very worthy cause, protecting our country’s Rhinos.
Mobile bars will be spread around the music and the restaurant areas for festival goers’ convenience. Camping facilities with toilets & hot showers available for the entire weekend and there will also be firewood and ice for sale at the festival grounds. The festival also has “kiddie friendly” jumping castles and a pool to cool off in. And you can try your luck by angling for fish (real fish) in the lake.
The Black Cat Bones, The Fake Leather Blues Band, Bittereinder, The Emile Swiegers Band, Naming James, Piet Botha, Jack Hammer, Tidal Waves, The Smoking Mojos, The Slashdogs, Wolfgang Marrow, Hoot ‘n Anny, Bright Lights Big City, Lord Wolmer, Juggernaught, Jack Stone, Shotgun Tori, the Stray Natives, Johnny & The Bomb, Banda, The Jonathan Peyper Trio, Die See, Andra, Janice & The Halfjacks and Crystal Park will be providing the entertainment on stage.
Tickets for the whole weekend will only be R350 and day passes R100.
