We’re Hiring!

We’re hiring! (Well kinda cause we don’t have any money to offer you… so we aaactually want to use you). Point is… WE’RE LOOKING FOR DJ’S!!!

With the rapid expanding of the radio station, we’ve decided to fill in a few more slots, and we want to fill them with people that are maybe a little too touched by music… people who want so badly to share it that it hurts. We’re honestly and truly the most passionate bunch of humans you’ll ever encounter, (but not the overboard type that walk around smiling from eyeball to eyeball even when their worlds are falling apart –  I’m talking MUSIC) and we want more of that kind to join our crew.

If you feel like you have what it takes to have your own show… then you need to do the following:

1. RECORD yourself, (it can be a normal voice recording on your phone… or a video. We don’t care about your facial finesse) answering the following questions:

a) What’s your f@#%in’ problem? Joke.

a) What are your 5 most commonly listened to bands at the moment. Why?

b) Talk about the SA music scene a little please!

c) Who are a few SA bands or DJ’s doing it right?

d) What’s the best live performance you’ve ever seen? Why?

e) If you could watch ONE LAST BAND perform EVER! Who?

f) Why do you want a radio show? Huh?

2. Send a 20 track playlist as well as the recording/video, (or a link to thereof) to jarryd@thegrindradio.co.za

This is round one! [FIGHT!!!] We’ll go through the entries and pick out 10 from the lot and then there will be round 2. If you make round 2, we’ll  be seeing you personally for a chat, to figure out who you are and if you’re the hero who will help fill societies earifices with the music they SHOULD be listening to… one human at a time.
