Psychedelicacy’s background showcases a diverse musical palette, initially rooted in a deep appreciation for the power of metal music & RnB. Meet Gabzilla
Cape Town based, Johannesburg native Gabzilla has been blasting through the local DNB scene! Over the past three years she has played all of the local parties big and small across RSA, including Cape Town favourites: Pressure, It Came From The Jungle & CHERCH. She has already played on four international line-ups, opening for the likes of Camo & Crooked, Grafix, Maduk, Tantrum Desire and Monrroe.
Inspired by her long-time passion for dance, Gabzilla’s sets are curated to make people move. Her sound is versatile and she prides herself on being able to play for any time slot. She can be seen playing everything from beautiful liquid to high energy dance tracks and everything in-between. She also has a dark side, favouring raga jungle vocals and deep hard hitting bass lines. Whatever the sub-genre, you can always trust her to take you on a journey. This, combined with her high-energy stage presence, guarantees that you won’t be able to resist dancing for long!
